This Christmas tree is one of a kind made of Sugar Maple and is 5-3/4" tall.

This wood is from an old sugar maple tree on my property that fell down.
This particular piece of wood was rescued from my firewood stack.
It was so gnarly, and twisted and so very hard that it caught my eye. Certainly not the easist piece of wood to work with, but I couldn't resist the urge to see what it would look like.
I and glad I took the time to try. I love this tree it is very interesting and wonderful.
Because it is so hard it took a wonderful polish, and the color is varied and deep.

These handmade Christmas decorations are sure to be treasured family heirlooms.
This wood was cut several years ago and has sat outside my shop while I let nature work on it and give it incredible colors.

This tree has an incredible graining and color. It is finished with lacquer and hand rubbed to a satin luster.
Each hand turned tree has a fanciful shape.

It is finished with several coats of carefully hand rubbed lacquer finish to best show it off.
It is signed and numbered by the artist.
