This Christmas tree is made of Spalted Sugar Maple and is 9-3/4" tall.

This is a special tree, a real show off because of the amazing patterns and texture in the wood.

The patterns are from spalting which happens when maple is exposed to weather for a long period of time.

These handmade Christmas decorations are sure to be treasured family heirlooms.
This wood was cut several years ago and has sat outside my shop while I let nature work on it and give it incredible colors.

This tree has an incredible graining and color. It is finished with lacquer and hand rubbed to a satin luster.
Each hand turned tree has a fanciful shape.

It is finished with several coats of carefully hand rubbed lacquer finish to best show it off.
It is signed and numbered by the artist.
