Sunrise Woodwork is a custom cabinet shop that makes fine woodwork items for home and office. We deliver and install our work locally, as well as ship the items purchased online.

WHAT PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND WHY WE COLLECT IT

The short version: Information submitted to our site is used only to enhance the experience of people using our site, and to fulfill orders made on our site. We do not sell user information for marketing purposes to any third party.

WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER

Personal information such as name and address etc. is collected and used to process the order only. It is not passed to any third party for marketing purposes. 
It may be passed to a shipping carrier such as UPS or the United States Postal service.

All payment transactions for purchases on our site are handled via PayPal. No credit card information is collected by us, and none is given to us by PayPal.

MAILING LIST

Our mailing list is managed by MailChimp. If you sign up for our mailing list, the contact information you submit will be available to MailChimp. We use the mailing list to enable interested viewers to receive occasional emails informing them of special offers, and what is new from our shop. These are infrequent and not spammy. We do not sell or transfer our mailing list to other third parties.

COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Information submitted to us via any of the contact forms on our site are not transferred to any third party. It is used only to enable us to communicate to our users.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR INFORMATION

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
